After qualifying in preliminary test only go for physical test. After qualifying physical test, mains will be conducted.

Based on the performance marks candidates will be selected for the post of constables in armed reserve, civil departments.

• Preliminary exam date is 16 October 2016  ie Sunday morning 10 am to 1 pm
• Hall tickets can be downloaded before 10 days from the exam date.

Qualification age for AP Police Constables Recruitment 2016

• For civil,armed reserve constables 18-22 years by 01.07.2016
• For Jail warders 18-30 years by 01.07.2016
• For SC,ST,BC candidates five years age relaxation

For SC,ST candidates 10th class qualified with intermediate exams to be written.

Fees for application online:

Registration fees will be paid in Aponline/meeseva/Tsonline centres
For OC,BC registration fee Rs 300 SC,ST is Rs 150

Examination pattern for AP Police Constables Recruitment 2016

1. Preliminary examination:
Objective type exam for 200 marks duration is 3 hrs
Qualifying marks for preliminary exam is 40% OC, 35% BC, 30% SC,ST,EXSERVICE MEN
These marks will be considered for qualifying for next round exam only.

2.Physical measurement Test:
For CIVIL,AR constables men: Height 167.6 cm chest 86.3 cm with expansion 5 cm
women: Height 152.5 cm and weight not less than 40 kg
For Jail warders men: Height 164 cm chest 83 cm
women: Height 153 cm and weight not less than 45.5 kg
3. Physical Efficiency Test

This test consists of three events
100 m run, Long jump, 1600 m run,
For civil, Jail warders 1600 m run must qualify with remaining any one event to be qualified

For AR constables all three events to be qualified.
Main Examination - Objective type exam for those qualified the above exams
For civil constables,jail warders mains exam will be for 200 marks
For AR constables mains exam will be for 100 marks and 100 marks for physical efficiency test.
