The Federal elections for Australia parliament was held on 2nd Saturday 2016 to elect the 226 members. The vote counting continues last week after elections and creates situation tense among the parties. The results predicted as hung parliament. The results declared today for The house of representatives (lower house) which has 150 seats and The Senate(upper house) which has 76 seats.The ruling party prime minister Malcolm Turnbull today told that people has accepted the present ruling and given a good verdict and he will continue the same things as earlier. Yesterday the opposition party leader has accepted the people verdict.In press conference, Turnbull thanked Shorten for congratulatory call and expressed hope the 45 th Australian parliament would be exciting.

The House of Representatives results declared live

The majority 76 seats won by the Liberal/National Coalition party led by Mr Malcolm Turnbull. The opposition Australian Labor party led by Mr Bill Shorten won 69 seats and remaining parties Australian Greens, Nick Xenophon team, Katter’s Australian each single seat won and independents balance 2 seats won.

The majority 26 seats won by the Liberal/National Coalition party led by Mr Malcolm Turnbill. The opposition Australian Labor party led by Mr Bill Shorten won 23 seats and remaining parties Australian Greens 3 seats won, Nick Xenophon team 2 seats won, Pauline Hanson’s One Nation single seat won, Jacqui Lambi Network one seat won and remaining 12 seats in doubt.
