Eligibility for AP SI Posts Recrutiment 2016 are:
1. For SI posts : 21-27 years general category & any degree passed
2. For Deputy Jailir posts; 21-30 years general category & any degree passed
3. For Assistant matron posts: 21-25 years general category Any bachelor’s degree passed
Upper age limit increased 5 years for BC/SC/ST for the above posts
Women reservation in posts for Civil is 331/3 % & for AR it is 20%
Selection procedure is in four stages as follows:
1. Preliminary written test
Objective tests consists two papers of total 200 marks
Paper 1 100 marks for Arithmetic and test of reasoning,mental ability
Paper 2 100 marks for general studies
2. Physical measurements test (PMT)
Test will be conducted for who qualified written test
For men Height: must not be less than 167.6 cms
Chest: must not be less than 86.3 cms with expansion of 5 cms.
For Women Height: must not be less than 152.5 cms

3. Physical Efficiency test(PET)
Test will be conducted for who qualified PMT sports events like 100 mts run, long jump, short put, High jump, 800 mts run . candidates has to qualify the events within qualifying time. For more details please see the notification….
4. Final Written Examination.
Candidates who have qualified the PET will go for final written examination. It consists of four papers in which two papers are objective and other two are descriptive in nature. For more details please see the notification….
