The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the results of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test NEET1,NEET2 phases today for admissions to undergraduate medical & dental colleges in India.The NEET exam conducted twice in two phases. NEET 1 conducted in May 2016. NEET 2 conducted in July 2016 according to guidelines given by supreme court. Actually results was expected to release on August 17, but the Board has just released the result.

NEET Results 2016

For general category, the topper has scored 685 marks out of a total of 720, qualifying mark for counselling process is 145 marks and no of candidates qualified are 1,71,329.

For OBC category, the candidates, who have scored in the range of 678 to 118 and no of candidates qualified are 1,75,226.

Steps to check the NEET 2016 results

1. Log onto the official website aipmt.nic.in

2. Click on the link NEET result

3. Enter your roll number and date of birth & click submit button

4. The results will be displayed in a separate window

5. Take a print out of the result for future reference
