Life Insurance Corporation of India celebrating golden jubilee this year and announces scholarships for the merit students who are economically weak to continue their higher studies.For LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarships 2016 students can apply online and can contact their nearby divisional offices for further details.Each LIC Divisional offices 20 scholarships decided to award the students. Eligibility for LIC Scholarship 2016

1. Students with minimum 60% marks in 10th,inter and passed inter in 2015-16 to pursue higher studies in engineering,medicine,degree in arts/science,diploma & vocational courses.

2. Parental annual income should be not more than one lakh rupees

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarships 2016 duration is for entire duration of course and student has to renewal every year and fulfill the requirements.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarships 2016 awards amount of Rs 10,000 per annum distributed in ten months of Rs 1.000 each. The amount will be debited in directly bank account of individuals.

Last date for online applications is 23rd September 2016.

Guidelines for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarships 2016

1. Selection of students will be shortlisted by merit and parents annual income. However preference will be given for low annual income.

2. Scholarship will be given for one student per family only.

3. Candidate should secure 55% marks in professional courses, 50% marks in degree in the qualifying exams every year.

4. Regular attendance should be certified by college and students have attendance in college.

5. Income certificate should be certified by authorised persons.
